Why don’t you ask your money to work for you if she can? (But before you can make her work for you, you need to get her! I know!)
We can’t be everywhere. We can’t do all our jobs ourselves. That’s why we need to co-operate and are inter-dependent. But, being dependent on others doesn’t mean that you can’t live a life with ample time for yourself.
These days people are so occupied with work. And if they don’t work, they won’t survive. We live a hand to mouth existence. We have no time to ourselves.
We have no time to sit with our family. We have no time to sit with our kids. We have no time to go out and exercise. Why ? Because we are tied to our work from the time we wake up and until the time we go to bed.
The big organisations have made us do this. Live for them. And forget our own family, social and personal life. Did we expect ourselves to be living this way when we invested in science and technology?
More technology has only multiplied our work. And it has encroached into our personal space. Most of the people on their weekends are doing nothing but reviewing their last week progress and planning for the coming one.
Love your work. And be absorbed in to your work. But, if it is a compulsion for your financial security then I would say you have stretched yourself too far. And that’s because you have yet to realise that you can have a very faithful servant in your money.
Yes, you can deploy your money to work for you. Make your money produce more money. Maybe you are not putting your money to work if you have been working for 20 plus years and still feel financially insecure.
In 20 years, if you allow your money to work smartly for you then you won’t need to work for money beyond 20 years. 20 years is a good enough time to retire and enjoy life. I can understand if you have to struggle in your formative years. But, beyond that it’s your lack of financial wisdom that’s keeping you away from living your dream life.
But, it is not possible to be smart enough to extract work from your money if you have never been to the school of money. The school and the college that you went to did not teach you to make money work for you. They just equipped you with knowledge and pushed you into the world of labour and work.
As you gained experience, you became a little more wise and understanding. But, by the time you have finished your 20 years, you find yourself still struggling. Reason – lack of financial education.
At Least think of the future now and allow yourself to be wiser. And start learning. May be you can’t go back and change the things in the past. But you will do a lot better to invest your time and money into learning the ropes so that you can climb the stairs of wealth in your next 10 years.

You too can dream big. You too can get back to your classroom. This time you don’t need a school or a college. All you need is to come to this blog and invest some of your time on a consistent basis. This will empower you with learning to make financially wise decisions.
