My encounter with a rich.

This is what I am chronicling the life of a person whim i know very closely. And I had the privilege to observe him from a very close range.

And I found the right awons why he was so rich. And the lessons that I learnt from him. It wasn’t like I aksed him and he answered my questions and I got the answers. It was a long term and gradual process of learning by observation and interpretation.

The family owns farm houses, real estates, stocks and businesses. And they make income through rentals. They have invested big time into real estate. They have got marriage garden that fetches them close to a lax or two in a day.

Then, they have houses that they have rented to the tenants. And I happened to be one of those tenants. The family head who is actually the master mind of all this wealth was a civil contractor.

And he made money by doing contract works for public as well as the govt. Today, they simply keep themselves busy with the activities in their farms.

Rich borrow money to make money. In a way, we can say that rich borrow money to build assets. And this is in sharp contrast to the actions of those who borrow to either buy liabilities or honor them.

The middle class remains middle because they never learn to leverage on their income and create assets. They are more interested in the social glam sham. A newly recruitment officer is more interested in buying a car for himself than starting a SIP.

But, these people think in terms of money. Therefore, my landlord drives a standard Maruti swift. And they have a hero splendor bike that they would have bought long ago. But, you will astounded to see their bungalow and the lifestyle they enjoy.

They have time to themselves. They have big space to themselves. They are not running short of time. They enjoy the celebrations. They occasionally throw parties to their near and dear ones. They don’t have to show to the world what they are.

Robert Kiyosaki very well puts in his book, Rich Dad, poor dad that poor buy more liabilities to keep themselves in poverty. Robert is correct in telling us that a lot of degrees and a high ranking job won’t give you the life that you may want to live.

Getting rich is game and if you earn the ropes well then you too can be rich and live life rich.
