Intro to the site and it’s Author

Hi,

Warm greetings to you!

It’s been close to 2 decades handling money. I have been in the field of personal finance much before this. I started to manage my own money from the days of my college. And the very first experience was opening my Savings Bank Account.

About the blog

Since then, I have used a range of personal finance products and services. As a consumer. And I have made a bagful of mistakes in using or misusing them.

Later on, I turned into a banker. Since then, my experience of handling customers has been like a Doctor handling his patients.

We make a lot of mistakes that keep our wealth in ill health. And the root cause of our mistakes and blunders is the lack of knowledge in the field of personal finance.

Personal finance is an important life skill. Unfortunately, it is hardly taught as part of the school or college curriculum. But, without knowing the management of money is like driving a car without having proper training on how to drive!

This blog, meetmrbanker.com has been started with an intent to help you improve your understanding of money, banking, and other aspects of personal finance.

About the blog founder

The founder of the blog has rich experience in retail banking and selling mutual funds, insurance, credit cards, etc. He has been actively a part of many financial literacy camps conducted independently.

A lot out of 53 taking their NFLAT exam online.

The author got the idea to start a blog after he prepared a small group of 53 students for the National Financial Literacy Aptitude Test(NFLAT) conducted by NCFE.

The experience of taking the school-going kids through the personal finance lessons not only provided the required impetus to take my work beyond my cubicle but also worked as a huge source of inspiration to build an online financial education platform for the same.
